When Luisa Sidoli, the founder and designer at Tatu Couture approached me, I didn't know the brand. Lately I get so many contacts from brands who want to collaborate that I notice that I am getting more and more picky about with whom I want to collaborate and what products to curate for the store, so, honestly, I wasn't heads over heels at first. After the first glimpse at the lookbook I immediately saw some of my favorite styles and began to imagine them at KIA's. But it wasn't until the samples arrived and I held these unbelievable garments in my hand that my chin dropped down, my oh my, every piece more beautiful than the other. I was helplessly surrendered. Words couldn't explain my humble appreciation and ardent love for these garments. If you are looking for exquisite luxury, don't look any further. Every stitch is meticulously perfect, every detail is lovingly thought, the materials are truly impressive and obviously carefully chosen, and the sophisticated designs are just the first things that come to my mind when I think of Tatu Couture.
Luisa founded Tatu Couture in 2012, because she wanted to "steer the brand away from mass production, towards skilfully developed and hand produced 'art for the body'. The brands sophisticated lingerie perfectly reflects her vision, standing out through its unique design, exquisite craftsmanship & luxurious fabrics with attention to detail that elevates it to Haute Couture status". Luisa graduated from the world renowned ‘Contour’ course at De Montfort University with first class honours and she carved out a successful design career working for well known lingerie brands such as Marks and Spencer, La Senza, Knickerbox and Ann Summers.
